Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
SoundLoom is committed to making its music tools usable by as many people as possible. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA.
Measures we take
- Semantic HyperText Markup Language and landmark regions for assistive technologies.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation and interactive controls.
- A built-in accessibility widget for adjusting text size, enabling higher contrast, underlining links, and reducing motion.
- Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators and sufficiently sized interactive targets.
- Color choices intended to meet contrast requirements.
The accessibility widget
Every page includes an accessibility widget, opened from the button in the lower corner of the screen. It lets you increase text size, turn on a higher-contrast theme, underline links, and reduce animation. Your choices are saved locally in your browser and can be reset at any time.
Known limitations
Some highly visual and interactive features — such as the audio playback and the interactive fretboard in NameLoom — may not yet be fully optimized for every assistive technology. Text inside individual tools uses fixed sizing that the global text-size control does not always affect. We are working to improve these areas.
